School dining
School lunch is compulsory for all Early Years, Primary and Year 7 and 8 pupils. From Year 9 onwards pupils have the option of bringing a packed lunch to school.
Apart from providing healthy, freshly prepared home cooked meals every day, the school dining room is a place where pupils develop and hone their good manners and social skills.
Dining is organised in several sittings depending on pupils’ age and year group. Pupils are expected and encouraged to follow a healthy, balanced diet. Although we cannot take into account each pupil’s individual likes and dislikes, we are able to cater for pupils with special dietary needs as prescribed by a doctor, or on the grounds of religion or faith. There are also specific menus for vegetarians, celiacs and other allergies may be catered for.
The school menu is arranged by our Head Chef and supervised by a nutritionist, and sent to parents every month.
