Four features are central to the delivery of education at El Limonar International School Villamartín: a curricular offer of high academic standards; social and moral development; personalized attention; and extracurricular and complementary activities beyond the classroom.
The school follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales, except for those subjects taught in Spanish which follow Spanish Ministry of Education programmes.
Students graduate from the school with qualifications are, therefore, the Spanish ‘Graduate in Obligatory Secondary Education’ certificate, at the end of Secondary school, and the Spanish ‘Baccalaureate’ certificate and English A-level certificates, at the end of their Baccalaureate studies. In addition, students at Elis Villamartín sit IGCSE examinations, at the end of Secondary school.
El Limonar International School Villamartin takes pupils aged 3 to 18 on a single site. A pupil’s academic progress and personal development is tracked and monitored throughout their time at the school, ensuring a smooth transition from one stage to the next, Early Years to Primary, Primary to Secondary and Secondary to A-level.
