We are thrilled to share with you some photos and videos from our third edition of Cognita’s Global Be Well Day (GBWD), which took place yesterday Thursday 30th September.
For the third consecutive year, 86 Cognita schools celebrated Global Be Well Day, an international event organised by the group to promote children’s wellbeing which counted with the participation of more than 65,000 students and teachers from all around the world.
Emotional wellbeing and mental health are at the heart of the culture and ethos of ELIS Villamartín and Cognita and indeed the Covid-19 pandemic has heightened this priority even more. Therefore, this year’s third edition focused on empathy and on the importance of promoting social relations within the community, externalising emotions and the value of collaboration and cooperation. These are particularly relevant topics at a time when the continuing impact of the global pandemic on our mental health is the subject of growing interest and study
Wellbeing is key to education too. So much so that all Cognita schools have an overarching student support and wellbeing programme that extends throughout students’ school life.
