Last week all of our Y12 students had the exceptional opportunity to experience the world of work for the first time. The Work Experience programme organized by José Javaloyes and José Martínez has taken 16 students to external companies and another 13 students to practices within our school collaborating with different departments.
This year marks the tenth edition of the Work Experience programme which is highly valued by students. At that time, this initiative was a pioneer in the Valencian Community and, to this day, it continues to be an important asset that distinguishes our students when applying for university places.
Our students have spent time working in 10 different companies across diverse professional sectors: a law firm, a TV station, a hospital, a consultancy firm and more. We are very grateful for the enormous support provided by these companies ensuring our Sixth Form students can continue preparing for their future work. In the current pandemic situation, the courage of our students and the unconditional support from their parents, who have been involved in this annual project, should be commended.
Both the companies and the teachers with whom the students have completed their internships with have congratulated the school for the excellent disposition, professionalism, maturity and enthusiasm shown by our students throughout the week.
Finally, we want to thank the following companies for having opened their doors to our students:
7TV Región de Murcia
Hotel Doña Monse
Engels & Völkers
Eurotele Servicios Digitales
Hospital Quironsalud Torrevieja
Sánchez Butrón abogados
Somium Premium Properties
Banco Santander Central Hispano
