National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS)

ELIS Murcia is a founder member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS). It was founded in 1978 and since then, NABSS members are fully licensed by the Ministry of Education of Spain, and recognized by the British Council centers and official inspectors. NABSS is also affiliated to the British Consulate in Spain.

Council of British International Schools (COBIS)

ELIS Murcia is a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS).

Representing over 400 member organisations, COBIS is a responsive organisation, open to current and future opportunities. The association has developed markedly since its foundation, changing to meet the needs and aspirations of its growing global school membership base.

COBIS ‘Members’ are schools of good quality which have either successfully completed inspection of school development and improvement with a body recognised by COBIS (currently the CIS), or have satisfied us of their suitability and committed to a BSO inspection within three years.

British Chamber of Commerce in Spain

ELIS Murcia is a member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain, the only independent British-Spanish business organisation in Spain, with strong institutional relations, in particular with the British Embassy and British commercial services (UK Trade and Investment) and Spanish abroad (ICEX).

Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française (DELF) Prim

DELF Prim is intended for children who are beginners in French as a Foreign Language and who are either undertaking studies corresponding to the French elementary level or are the right age to undertake such studies under the regulations applicable in their country. Successful candidates receive a certificate identical to the general public version.

Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française (DELF) and Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF)

DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. DALF is composed of 2 independent diplomas that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Goethe Institut

The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. We promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange.

Alliance Francaise (AF)

The Alliance Française in Paris has been spreading French language and Francophone culture for more than a century. A private higher education establishment and recognised training body, the Alliance Française Paris Ile-de-France is, above all, a not-for-profit organisation (association d’utilité publique) under the French law of 1901. It has built its actions and reputation on the quality of its teaching and training programmes, in a multicultural environment which promotes exchanges, respect and conviviality.

Edexcel

Edexcel is the brand name for academic and general qualifications from Pearson, including GCSEs and A levels, as well as some vocational qualifications, including NVQs and Functional Skills.
