On Friday 28 February the Agalia Hotel hosted our annual ELIS Murcia Charity Dinner pro-Vicente Ferrer Foundation, an event which is now in its seventh edition.
As always, all funds raised are donated to the project previously selected by our Student Council: this year a residential centre for children with intellectual disabilities in Anantapur (India).
More than one hundred parents of current students, parents of former students and ELIS staff joined together for a cocktail reception and dinner followed by the now traditional charity raffle. All prizes were kindly donated by school parents and the raffle itself was conducted by the journalist and presenter José Martínez (La 7 Región de Murcia). There was also time for a few words from our Headteacher, Vanessa Grimward, and representatives from FVF and our AMPA (Parents Association).
All funds raised will be added to other monies collected during the academic year (charity markets, Younger Games, MUFTI days etc.) to contribute to this excellent project.
Don’t miss out next year and join us for an evening of fun and solidarity!
